<p>The AXP skid plate for KTM 790 and 890 Adventure has been designed in 8 mm thick polyethylene plastic.</p> <p>This material provides maximum protection while maintaining lightness (weight of the guard: 3.7Kg). It does not deform and avoids the bad vibrations or resonant noise found in aluminum products.</p> <p>Our model does not mount directly to the engine but uses an aluminum mounting system at the rear plus 4 mounting points on the front frame. Tank protection is secured, eliminating the need for additional purchase of protection bars. A mudguard plate and a graphics kit are provided.</p> <p>The engine skid plate is a consumable, therefore the products are only guaranteed in case of premature product breakage.</p>

<p><strong>Skid Plate for KTM 790 Adventure / 890 Adventure / R / L HARD</strong></p> <p>Weight: 4.1Kg – Made of 8mm thick polyethylene plastic, this new version takes the best of the previous model and incorporates several improvements!</p> <p>The AXP skid plate offers superior protection on both sides of the fuel tank by also covering the fuel pump and including an intermediate foam layer to prevent rubbing and paint chipping. The design has been revised so that installation is compatible with the original KTM fuel pump guard. The redesigned mudguard is now placed in front of the skid plate to prevent the plastic from melting and coming into contact with the front fender.</p> <p>The welds have been modified and reinforced with 4mm thick aluminum plates. Finally, a hole has been added on the right side to accommodate the hose.</p> <p>Model also available in orange under reference AX1703 and only compatible with KTM 790 ADVENTURE / 790 ADVENTURE R / 890 ADVENTURE / 890 ADVENTURE R.</p>
